FIRST LEGO League Jr
Focusing on building an interest in science and engineering in children ages 6 – 9, Junior FIRST LEGO League Jr is a hands on program designed to capture young children’s inherent curiosity and direct it toward discovering the possibilities the world around them. The Jr FLL work with LEGO elements and moving parts to build ideas and concepts and present them for review. Offered Winter 1, Spring, Fall 1 & 2.
FIRST LEGO League
Introduces 5th – 8th grade students to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. FLL® teams will focus on basic programming skills and may incorporate sensor use, guided by their imaginations and adult coaches, discover exciting career possibilities and, through the process, learn to make positive contributions to society. It will also teach teamwork in a competitive aspect.
