Swim Suit Care and Life Expectancy

Life Expectancy of Swim Suit

The life expectancy of a ladies swim suit is approximately 3-4 months.  This is based on wearing a suit three times a week for one hour at a time.  So depending on your swimming frequency, the life expectancy could be a little more or a little less.

Care for Your Swim Suit

The care given to a suit plays a big role in how long a suit will last.  We recommend rinsing the suit in cold water immediately after swimming.  Once home, hand wash the suit in cold water with a mild detergent.  This will rinse away chlorine or sea salts.  The suit can be dried in the dryer on a low setting or line dry out of direct sunlight.
